Galvanized steel sheets prevent the metal surface from being corroded. In order to extend its life, a layer of metallic zinc is coated on the metal surface. This kind of steel sheet is called galvanized sheet. Galvanizing is an economical and effective anti-corrosion method that is often used. About half of the world's zinc production is used in this process. It can be divided into two materials: non-alloy hot-dip galvanized steel strip and alloyed hot-dip galvanized steel strip. Compared with stainless steel, galvanized sheet is just a metal zinc plated on the surface of the steel plate or iron plate, while stainless steel is an anti-corrosion and acid-resistant alloy plate.
